Former Birmingham City managing director Karren Brady has said here piece over the row with Sunderland boss Steve Bruce.
Bruce is still angry over the way he was treated by Brum management as he left the club for Wigan Athletic.
In her diary for The Sun, Karren wrote: "Like an avenging God or a niggly Fergie, though, he says he'll never forgive me for not supporting him when he left Blues. That's up to him.
"I could turn the other cheek but I don't do cheek-turning, so I'll explain my case briefly. It was David Sullivan who sold Matthew Upson. Second, it was me who tried to persuade the board to let the departing manager keep his image rights payment, when contractually he had no right to it.
"Am I hurt? Yes. Regret? Of course, I saw him as a friend. But, I wish him well and I pledge not to turn over this old stick again."
