Garry Brady has agreed a one-year contract extension at St Mirren, reports BBC Sport. The 33-year-old midfielder has been with the Paisley outfit since moving from Dundee in the summer of 2006.
"There is no doubt about his ability and he has an influence on younger players who look up to him," manager Danny Lennon told the clubs website.
"Garry has been told his fitness levels will have to pick up a bit and he has stated that he is more than prepared to do that."
The new boss at St Mirren Park added: "I often find when players get to Garry's age they will give you that bit more since they want to survive at this level."
