Former Kettering Town midfielder Jon Brady has not yet decided whether he will return to Australia for a trial with the Newcastle Jets.
The 34-year old has penty of options to weigh up in his adopted homeland and has told Jets coach Gary van Egmond he will need a few days to make his decision.
"It's a big decision, because I've lived half my life in England now and I have long-term commitments over here," Brady told The Herald.
"I've earned a reputation over here as a player, I've built up my business to the point where I have three full-time employees and 12 part-time staff, and I've also been doing some commentary work for BBC, which I've really enjoyed.
"I've got a girlfriend over here and I'm very settled. To move back to Australia really would be rolling the dice.
"But I'm a Newcastle boy, born and bred, and always will be. The chance to play for my home-town club has been a lifelong ambition for me. It would be amazing something I'd be massively proud to do."
