Karen Brady is hoping that West Ham United can reach some type of compromise regarding the athletics track at the Olympic Stadium.
Brady, the club's vice-chairman, wants to sort out the dispute with the LLDC over the track.
Both sides want to replace the currently green cover on part of the track with another color, but they cannot agree on what it will be.
The club issued the LLDC a 14-day deadline to respond to a mockup of the track cover they find agreeable.
"In my view, this looks great [claret and blue mockup of the new track cover from the club] and meets everyone's needs," she said in a statement.
"I believe that this suggestion is the sort of compromise that the expert had in mind when he expressed genuine hope that we settle upon a sensible outcome acceptable to us both."
