Arsenal academy boss Liam Brady is tipping a raft of his youngsters to form the backbone of future senior teams.
"There's definitely a few players for the future within that bunch," Brady told the Daily Mail. "A lot of them joined us at 10, like Jack Wilshere, Henri Lansbury, who is out at Watford getting experience, Jay Emmanuel- Thomas at Blackpool and Sanchez Watt, who was on the bench for the first team in the week.
"We don't want to spend £20million on a footballer we could produce here and Arsene doesn't have a fear of putting kids in the team.
"That's a tremendous comfort for someone in my position. He was always like that, going back to Nicolas Anelka and Jermaine Pennant, but Jermaine probably wasn't mature enough to handle being a big star overnight.
"When I cast my mind back, it's a lot tougher for kids now. They're stars straight away. But Arsenal looked after me as a kid. I'll always appreciate that and it's nice to be doing the job I'm doing."
