Brady back at Arsenal as academy ambassador

Liam Brady is set to return to Arsenal in a new ambassadorial role.


The Gunners legend only left the club 18 months ago, stepping down from his role as the academy director in May 2014.

Now according to a report from the Daily Mail, the former star attacking midfielder is set to step into the ambassador's role with particular focus on the academy which is currently run by Andries Jonker.

During his time at the helm of the North London club's youth setup, former Republic of Ireland international Brady played a key role in the development of such Gunners first team players as Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs as well as former Arsenal stars Cesc Fabregas and Ashley Cole.
