Bradley back with Roma, Bedoya doing well for Nantes, Johannsson in rhythm in Holland - Klinsmann assesses USA squad

Juergen Klinsmann has highlighted a handful of USA national team players who he feels are doing well or returning at club level this season.

In an interview with USsoccer.com, Klinsmann was quizzed on AS Roma midfielder Michael Bradley, who has returned from injury, while speaking about a few others who are plying their trade positively around Europe.

"You mentioned Michael Bradley, and he is very key for us. We are thrilled he's back in the starting lineup now after his injury," Klinsmann said.

"We watch all the other players getting their rhythm. We see Fabian Johnson (Hoffenheim) and John Brooks (Hertha Berlin) now coming back from their injuries. I've talked to their coaches, and they are ready to go again.

"Alejandro Bedoya is doing extremely well with FC Nantes in France. Aron Johannsson is in his rhythm in Holland (with AZ Alkmaar).

"With Terrence Boyd at Rapid Vienna, he's totally motivated for this camp to play in the second match against Austria. It's great to see how Jozy [Altidore] is fighting his way through in the Premier League. I will go to see Sunderland play Manchester City on the weekend. Maybe that helps him get his first goal in the Premier League there!"

The US team is preparing for upcoming friendlies with Scotland, in Glasgow next Friday, and Austria in Vienna on November 19 as they continue along their path to the 2014 World Cup.
