USA national team coach Bob Bradley has named his 22-man squad for the first ever international friendly against Slovakia.
The US take on the Eastern European nation in Bratislava this Saturday and will be used as preparation for next year’s World Cup in South Africa.
The national team then takes on Denmark four days later which will their 24th match of the year, their most ver in a calendar for the US team.
“These matches present a terrific opportunity to continue building on the nucleus of our team, and at the same time evaluate more of the player pool against very good opponents,” said Bradley.
“We are very pleased with what we have accomplished in a long and challenging year, and we move forward with the goal of getting ourselves ready to be a competitive team in the World Cup.”
The following is the USA squad for the Slovakia match and any changes required prior to the Denmark clash will be made as needed by Bradley:
