Bradford forced to gamble on Man Utd loan youngsters

Bradford boss Peter Taylor has been forced to "gamble" on two young loan players from Manchester United. City have won only two of their first nine league games and Taylor has drafted in defenders Oliver Gill, 20, and England Under-19 international Reece Brown, 18 on 28-day loan deals.

Taylor told the club's official website: "The season's not been going as we were looking for, results have been poor and with the injuries on top of that, as a manager you've got to act.

"I'm really pleased to get two young players of their ability and I know they're very well thought of at Man United.

"It's a bit of a gamble, but I've watched them quite a few times and I'm very confident of them fitting in well.

"Anybody that is at Man United will have grown up the correct way, no doubt about that. I'm sure they will be first-class people and first-class professionals."
