Bradford City manager Phil Parkinson was absolutely thrilled with how his side performed in tonight's Capital One Cup semi-final second leg.
The Bantams have become the first League Two club in history, and first from the Football League's bottom tier since Rochdale in 1962, to make it through to the cup final after beating Aston Villa 4-3 on aggregate despite a 2-1 defeat at Villa Park tonight.
Bradford now awaits either Swansea City or Chelsea in the February 24 Wembley decider and Parkinson was extremely proud of his men for their remarkable efforts.
"Coming here two goals up we had a great chance," Parkinson said. "In the first half Villa were excellent but in the second I thought we were excellent and deserved it.
"We felt in the first half we didn't pass the ball and in the second we got hold of the ball and had a period of possession. We knew Villa are an attacking team that would leave space for us.
"It's dreamland. We said we had a chance to make history and it's absolutely tremendous."
