Phil Parkinson has been named the League Two manager of the month for December following Bradford's four-game unbeaten run. Former Charlton boss Alan Curbishley chairs the manager of the month judging panel and was impressed with how Parkinson has turned Bradford's fortunes around.

"December's results have lifted Bradford out of the relegation battle and into mid-table," Curbishley told the Football League website.

"Among their three wins were excellent victories over high-flying Southend United and Shrewsbury Town. Phil is starting to get the best out his team."
