Bradford boss Parkinson hoping to get Man Utd in FA Cup draw

Bradford City boss Phil Parkinson hopes to draw Manchester United in tonight's FA Cup Third Round lottery.

The Bantams chief, who led his side to the League Cup Final two years ago, masterminded a comfortable win over Conference part-timers Dartford.

Parkinson said: "Clubs like Bradford need to be in the third round with the big boys.

"The draw is one of the outstanding days in the football calendar and I'm really pleased we're in it.

"For us, it's the biggest competition - there is prize money in it and you can never take away the prestige of the FA Cup. If you ask me who I want, it's a home tie against Manchester United.

"Building up to it, the week of an FA Cup tie is special, whether you're a manager or a player. It's a different feeling.

"So I feel we prepared well and the attitude of the players was excellent."
