Brad Guzan could be in action for Aston Villa today against Nottingham Forest.

The USA goalkeeper returned to training yesterday after almost a month in his homeland at the Gold Cup and is expected to travel with the squad to the City Ground, says the Birmingham Mail.

Jed Steer and Mark Bunn have provided the cover in goal this summer and both stoppers have performed well.

But it will be Guzan, who lost his place to now-departed Shay Given at the back end of last season, who will now get the chance to impress.
