Emmerson Boyce has revealed he's opened new contract talks with Wigan Athletic.

The 29-year-old has enjoyed his time at the club and has hinted he would be more than happy to put pen-to-paper on a new deal.

"My contract is up at the end of next season and we are in talks about a new one," explained Boyce.

"The club has always been good to me and I've had a good relationship with the fans."
