Wigan Athletic defender Emmerson Boyce praised Fulham striker Hugo Rodallega after defeat on Saturday.

Boyce certainly held no grudges against Rodallega even though the defeat kept Wigan in their usual position, hovering just above the relegation places.

Boyce said: "He took his goal well. We knew all about him and what he can do. It's just a pity we couldn't stop him. It was good to see him again. He was a great player for Wigan and we've all shaken his hand even though he scored against us."
