Emmerson Boyce is of the belief that Wigan Athletic are capable of progressing from the group stages of the Europa League.
The Latics sit third on the Group D table, two points behind Zulte-Waregem, following Thursday night's last-gasp 2-1 loss to the Belgians and need to beat NK Maribor in Slovenia in their final match on December 12.
For Wigan to make the Round of 32, group leaders Rubin Kazan need to avoid defeat to Zulte but Boyce feels that is a scenario which could favour the Latics.
"We're Wigan: we like doing things the hard way," he told BT Sport.
"We'll go away from home and know we need three points.
"It's going to be a tough task but we're confident we can go there and get a result."
