Celtic's latest signing Dedryck Boyata is aiming to achieve Champions League football with the Scotland champions.
The 24-year old Belgian signed a four-year deal on Tuesday after opting to quit Manchester City and is nomw after regular top flight European action with the Glasgow giants.
Boyata has arrived as a direct replacement for compatriot Jason Denayer, who has returned to his parent club City after a successful loan season, and will now partner Dutchman Virgil van Dijk as the Hoops look to qualify through three rounds in order to book a spot in the main draw of the premium Europe competition.
He said: "That's maybe the big thing for me. I've seen Celtic in the Champions League before and they are a big club.
"I see the club being able to be in it again.
"If we can qualify then that would be a really good thing and I think it is possible."
