Dedryck Boyata has signed a new contract with Manchester City.
The 23-year old Belgian defender has penned a two-year contract with the Premier League champions and will now be eligible to be registered as a homegrown player next season.
Boyata initially joined City's academy as a 16-year old and has now extended his stay at the Etihad Stadium as he strives to force his way into Manue Pellegrini's first team.
Boyata has spent time on loan with Bolton Wanderers and FC Twente since becoming part of City's senior squad in 2009.
