Lee Bowyer expects major changes at Birmingham City this summer.
The veteran believes there'll be a squad overhaul.
He told the Birmingham Mail: "There have obviously been changes made from last season, and there will be more.
"So are we going in the right direction?
"I tell you what Birmingham are going to have to do, and that's be busy because they're going to lose a lot of players in the summer and will have to replace them.
"There could be nine or ten players lost. Some are up on a free and are not getting deals.
"We've got a few players on loan - [Alexander] Hleb, [David] Bentley, [Obafemi] Martins, [Matt] Derbyshire. So basically the forward line is Cameron Jerome and Nikola Zigic - they are definite for next season.
"Wide players, Birmingham are probably going to lose Bentley and [Sebastian] Larsson.
"So they've got to spend on so many because unless you can pick up people on a free going the other way, that's what it will take. So it will be interesting to see what they do."
