Bournemouth target Murray not leaving as he owes us - Crystal Palace boss Pardew

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew will not let Bournemouth target Glenn Murray leave the club just yet.

Murray, who was on loan at Reading last season following his spell out due to injury, was brought back to Selhurst Park last season by Pardew.

He went on to score seven goals for the Eagles in the second half of the campaign.

Now Pardew feels that the striker owes a lot to the club. He said: "I was the one who rescued him and brought him back to Palace and, as much as we owe him a lot, he owes a lot to us."

The Cherries have been credited with an interest in the 31-year-old but it appears as though they will not be signing him this summer.
