Bournemouth striker King delighted to open goalscoring account

Bournemouth striker Josh King was delighted to open his goalscoring account this season with his extra-time strike in the League Cup win over Brighton.

The Norwegian striker, who scored 16 league goals last season, decided the tie in the favour of the Cherries with his 99th-minute strike.

"It's good to get off the mark," he told the club's website.

"It's my first goal of the season and one that you're always looking to get. The fact that it was one that really helped the team was pleasing.

"It was a one-two with Marc Pugh and a good team goal and, now that I'm off the mark, I feel really good."
