Bournemouth have signed Portsmouth midfielder Marc Wilson on-loan for a month.
Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Wilson, 20, had a successful spell with the Cherries towards the end of last season.
The south coast club are in the grip of a crippling injury crisis and have also added two other new names to the squad ahead of Saturday's League One clash at Swindon.
Assistant manager Rob Newman, 43, has been registered on an 'emergency only' basis. Newman can play in central defence if needed.
Youth team defender Billy Franks is the other new face in Kevin Bond's first-team plans.
