Connor Mahoney admits the presence of Eddie Howe convinced him about joining Bournemouth.
The former Blackburn Rovers winger agreed to join the Cherries this week.
Mahoney told the Daily Echo: “There were a few other clubs interested but as soon as I heard Bournemouth wanted me, with the chance to work under the gaffer here – it was an easy decision.
“He's one of the best managers around. I trust him with my career and, hopefully, he can help me to the next step.
“It's massive for me to be working under a manager who gives young talent a chance – that's what we need."
