Bournemouth showing interest in Crystal Palace striker Gayle

Premier League new boys AFC Bournemouth are reportedly keen on Dwight Gayle.

According to the Daily Mail, the Cherries are eyeing the Crystal Palace striker who started just 11 times in the Premier League this season.

It is believed that Alan Pardew feels Gayle has a bright future but the former Conference ace, who has 10 goals in all competitions this term, may fancy regular first team football which Bournemouth could offer.

Gayle, 25, joined the Eagles from Peterborough United for £4.5million - which was a club record at the time - suggesting that the south Londoners will not let him leave Selhurst Park cheaply if they were to sell him.
