Bournemouth's Thomas eager for permanent Birmingham deal

Wes Thomas has put himself in the shop window with his Birmingham City loan deal and now wants to make the most of it.

The 26-year old striker has joined the Brum from League One outfit Bournemouth for the remainder of the season and is now looking to make it a permanent St Andrew's stay after scoring on debut in the 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest on the weekend.

"It comes down to how I perform. Hopefully I can put in the results to win a contract here," he said.

"I would be buzzing if I was able to stay here.

"I think if this club can sort out the problems it's got, it would be a massive club to sign for."
