Fraser told the Daily Echo: “I am not one of these people who wants England to do badly.

“Of course, if we play England, I want to beat them. I want to beat anyone who I play but I think it's silly, you want your home nations to do well.

“I don't see where that comes from and, if they weren't in it and I was in it, I'd hope they would think the same for Scotland."
