Bournemouth are understood to be interested in securing the services of Saint-Etienne winger Max Gradel.
According to reports on mirror.co.uk, Gradel is determined to return to England, where he previously had stints with Bournemouth, Leicester City and Leeds United.
It is understood St Etienne knocked back the Cherries' £4million offer for the Ivory Coast international earlier this month, with the French outfit valuing their player at £7million.
However, the newly-promoted English Premier League club are believed to be willing to increase their bid to £5million, with manager Eddie Howe hopeful a deal can be struck at that price.
