AFC Bournemouth star Andrew Surman left very pleased after the Cherries' 2-1 victory over Stoke City.
Bournemouth grabbed their first away victory of the season with a 2-1 triumph over Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday and one of the goalscorers for the Cherries during the encounter, Surman has expressed his delight at his side claiming the crucial win.
Surman said: "It was a great passing move. Junior put it on a plate for me and set it nicely so I didn't have to break my stride.
"Fortunately, the wind was behind me, there was a bit of zip on the pitch and I managed to find the corner of the net.
"It would have been nice to score a third as well and we had chances. At 2-0, you are never out of the game so it would have been nice to kill it off with a third but we can't complain.
"We were delighted to beat a strong team and showed both sides of our game to achieve the victory."
