Bournemouth midfielder Jack Wilshere prepared for Arsenal return

Bournemouth midfielder Jack Wilshere is prepared to return to parent club Arsenal.

Wilshere is approaching the end of his season-long loan at Bournemouth.

The Sun says he has a year left on his £90,000-a-week contract and has still to open discussions over a new deal.

But he remains committed to the club he joined as a nine-year-old — and Ozil's likely departure this summer could give him the chance to achieve his ambitions in an Arsenal shirt.

It is now six years since fans' favourite Wilshere completed his one and only full season for the North Londoners.

His career since then has been blighted by injuries including a broken ankle, broken leg and damaged ankle ligaments.

But he has managed to remain injury-free at the Vitality and, despite not having the impact he hoped at Bournemouth, Wilshere believes he is now in good shape to reignite his career.
