Bournemouth midfielder Max Gradel is close to joining Toulouse on loan.

The Ivorian joined the Cherries from Saint Etienne in 2015. Injuries and an Africa Cup of Nations appearances hampered his productivity at the club, having made just 27 appearances across all competitions.

Eddie Howe had reiterated his desire to keep Gradel, stating that the 29-year old was apart of his plans for the season.

However, Gradel will now return to Ligue 1 where he spent four seasons with Les Verts.
