Bournemouth midfielder Lewis Cook has vowed to earn a recall to the England squad.
The 21-year-old made his first Three Lions appearance in a 1-1 draw with Italy in March and was on standby for Gareth Southgate's World Cup squad in Russia.
Cook told the Daily Echo: "It was a massive achievement for me to be on standby for such a massive tournament. I have to use that and take it into the season to try to push.
"Being there before, I have just got to try to keep working hard and make sure the form for my club is up there.
"It's everyone's dream and goal to be in the England first team but, if it's the under-21s, then fine. We have a big campaign coming up."
