AFC Bournemouth midfielder Harry Arter has absolved Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko of any wrongdoing in the goalless draw between the two sides on Saturday.
The French midfielder appeared to elbow Arter during the game at the Vitality Stadium. Referee Craig Pawson didn't caution Sissoko during the game, but he could earn a retrospective ban for his action.
However, Arter decided to give the benefit of the doubt to his opponent following the game.
"He said to me afterwards that he did catch me but that it was by accident," he said.
"He doesn't seem to be that sort of player, so I'm sure it was by accident and hopefully we can move on from it."
