Bournemouth manager Howe: Tottenham won't be impacted by Juventus loss

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe does not believe Tottenham's midweek defeat to Juventus in the Champions League will impact their upcoming game.

Spurs were hoping to progress in the Champions League, but went out after two second half Juventus goals turned the tie in the Italians' favor.

Howe insists the loss will not impact the Premier League meeting between his side and Tottenham.

"They have been playing really well lately and are on a really good unbeaten run," Howe told Sky Sports.

"The [Champions League] exit will have really hurt them, they were the best team for the majority of that game.

"But being at home, we have to focus on ourselves. Since Christmas we have been very strong and have beaten some big teams here.

"I think we are capable of beating anybody here. We have beaten some very good teams - the crowd get behind us and we make it very difficult for opposing teams."
