Bournemouth manager Howe confirms Hyndman will return from Rangers loan spell

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has confirmed that Emerson Hyndman will be making a return back to the Vitality Stadium next season.

Hyndman joined Rangers from Bournemouth on a loan deal during the January transfer window and the young American made a huge impact at the Ibrox Stadium, even claiming the club's young player of the year award despite only arriving in winter.

Rangers are understandably keen on signing Hyndman on a permanent basis during the upcoming summer transfer window but Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has quashed such plans by stating that the 21-year-old will be staying put at the Vitality Stadium next year.

Howe said: "You don't invest in young players to then move them on quickly. That defeats the object of our model.

"We look to bring in young and talented players, develop them and make them better. That is a long-term process. We are delighted with the progress Emerson is making with Rangers. It's great to see him doing so well."
