AFC Bournemouth are believed to be losing interest in permanently signing Jack Wilshere from Arsenal.

The 25-year-old midfielder enjoyed some strong form for the Cherries earlier in the season but it is understood that Eddie Howe does not see him as a long-term fixture at the Vitality Stadium.

Wilshere has not started in Bournemouth's past two Premier League matches and it is believed that he does not fit into the style of the south coast club.

Howe was keen on a less temporary deal for the season-long loanee only a month ago but is now having second thoughts.

Wilshere, who will spend the remainder of the campaign with the Cherries, is under contract with the Gunners until the summer meaning he is facing an uncertain future with either club.
