Jack Wilshere insists an Arsenal title would indeed make him a happy man.
The midfielder has been with the club since he was nine years of age but now finds himself on a season-long loan with AFC Bournemouth.
With Arsene Wenger's men showing a little more substance than in previous seasons, there are pundits claiming they are capable of winning the Premier League, and if that were to be the case, Wilshere would not begrudge his beloved club one bit.
"I'd be happy for them [if Arsenal won the title]," he told Sky Sports.
"Someone asked me if it would be strange, but I've been there for that long and I know the manager and we have a good relationship. I know that's the one he wants the most.
"I'd be happy for them. Of course, it would be a little bit strange because I'm not there and you'd see all the celebrations, but I'm an Arsenal man, I've been there for many years, and I want them to do well."
