Bournemouth go for Portsmouth trio

Bournemouth could be set for a triple capture of Portsmouth youngsters.

The Cherries have already secured the signatures of Jason Pearce and Asmir Begovic, whilst Pompey new-boy Jean Francois Christophe looks set to sign on at The Fitness First Stadium according to Sky Sports.

Christophe has been training with Kevin Bond's side in pre-season, and his manager has had a good opportunity to analyse his possible capture.

"We had a good look at him for a week or so when he came to us," he told The Echo.

"He's a big, strong boy whose favoured position is central midfielder and if I could tie up something at the right money, I would.

"I don't think Portsmouth would have a problem with us loaning him. I'm hoping the boy would be happy with that as well as he has spent time here already, so it's just a question of seeing if we can get it through at our end."
