Bournemouth fullback Charlie Daniels retains hope of earning an England call.

Daniels sparkled in Cherries' debut Premier League campaign last season, leading some judges to suggest the 30-year-old's buccaneering displays merited an international call.

Daniels told the Daily Echo: "I can only control what I do. If it happens, it happens.

"If it doesn't, it doesn't. I'm just working as hard as I can to try to perform for Bournemouth. That's all I can do."
