Bournemouth have failed a bid for Brentford defender Chris Mepham.
Sky Sports says Bournemouth have seen their £10m bid for Mepham rejected.
The Cherries returned with a fresh approach for the young centre-back after having a £5.5m bid rejected by Brentford during the January transfer window.
But that too has been turned down, with the improved offer still not understood to be close to the Bees' valuation of the player.
The 20-year-old made his international debut for Wales earlier this year, coming on as a substitute in the 6-0 win over China in the 2018 China Cup.
