Bournemouth are determined to keep hold of Callum Wilson this month.
The Mirror says Bournemouth are ready to dig in their heels and shatter Chelsea's hopes of landing Wilson this month.
Jermain Defoe's 18-month loan to Rangers helped free up the money for manager Eddie Howe to sign Dominic Solanke from Liverpool for £19million and take Nathaniel Clyne, also from Liverpool, on loan.
Letting Wilson leave in the same month as Defoe would leave Howe short of options up front despite Solanke's arrival.
Maurizio Sarri's assistant Gianfranco Zola confirmed the Blues' interest in the player a fortnight ago when he said: “Callum is doing well and is of interest not only for us but for many."
