Bournemouth defender Ake: I've got nothing to prove to Chelsea & Conte

Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake says he has nothing to prove to Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

22-year-old Ake left Stamford Bridge in the summer, joining the Cherries in a deal worth £20m.

The Dutchman has started every Premier League game for Eddie Howe's side this season, and he insists he doesn't have to show his worth to his former manager.

"I don't go there to prove myself or anything like that," said Ake.

"It's just a game, a big game for us. We want to go to the semi-finals and that's what I want to think about, not about other things.

"I had a good time there so it will be good to be back at the Bridge. I still keep in contact with Andreas Christensen."
