Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has challenged Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to build on his scoring performance against Bournemouth.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has endured an inconsistent season so far, mainly due to injuries, but he did play a big role in Arsenal's 2-0 victory over Bournemouth on Sunday after finding the back of the net with a fine finish in the 24th minute.
The goal was actually Oxlade-Chamberlain's first ever away strike in the Premier League for Arsenal and manager Wenger has now challenged the England international to find the back of the net on a more regular basis.
Wenger said: "Oxlade-Chamberlain has the power, the technique and he is able to score goals but he can create also.
"Usually he is unlucky [with his shooting] but maybe that will convince him that he should take more chances."
