Bournemouth have copped a major fine for breaching Football League Financial Fair Play (FFP) laws.
The Sun reports the Cherries have been slapped with a £4.75million fine after breaching FFP.
The Cherries are said to have broken the regulations prior to their Premier League promotion.
The south coast club were treated to a massive cash influx after being taken over by Russian businessman Maxim Demin in 2011.
Bournemouth broke into the Premier League in 2015 having enjoyed a meteoric rise from the lower leagues.
The club started the 2009-10 season in League Two, but enjoyed three promotions in six seasons to break into the top-flight.
However, it is not the first time Bournemouth have been slapped on the wrists regarding FFP.
