Bournemouth are closing on a deal for Sampdoria fullback Pedro Pereira.

The Daily Mail says Bournemouth are in talks to sign Pereira.

The 18-year-old defender was the subject of £7million offers from Leicester and Juventus a year ago but stayed in Italy and has gone on to make ten first team appearances this season.

Benfica made an approach last week but the Portugal U18 international, who turns 19 later this month, is keen to join Bournemouth.
