Bournemouth captain Tommy Elphick has been hit with an ankle injury.
Elphick has already flown to Sweden to see a specialist who has treated Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the past as fears grow about his injury.
It means Elphick becomes the club's FOURTH injury lay-off and is another hammer blow for the newly-promoted Cherries.
While it is not as bad as the injuries suffered by Callum Wilson, Tyrone Mings and Max Gradel, losing a senior player is a massive setback.
Cherries boss Eddie Howe said: “Tommy has been to see a couple of specialists. We hope it is not too serious. He is unavailable for Saturday."
