AFC Bournemouth have permanently signed young defender Adam Smith from Tottenham.
The 22-year old right-back has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal with the Cherries, returning to Dean Court following a loan spell there in 2010/11.
Smith has struggled to force his way into the Spurs first team since coming through the youth academy and has had plenty of loan spells including stints with Torquay United, MK Dons and Millwall.
Smith was delighted to be heading back to Bournemouth, telling the club's official website: "It's great to be back. My loan spell here a few years ago was successful and I've worked with Eddie Howe before, so it just feels right.
"I've had seven loans and I was looking to stay at one club for a while. At this stage in my career, I need to have a home.
"Hopefully I can do that here because I'm here for the long term and want to help Bournemouth be successful."
