Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe says Jack Wilshere knows he must prove himself.

Wilshere moved to Bournemouth on Deadline Day for a season-long loan from Arsenal, seeking first-team football.

"Like any player he'll have to go and prove himself to get into the first XI. But with his work ethic and undoubted talent I'm sure he will.

"He's a very talented player. You can see that. He's been very good, very positive."
