Bournemouth boss Howe: We took our chances today

Ryan Fraser scored twice as Bournemouth thumped Leicester City 4-2 on Saturday.

Fraser ran the show for Bournemouth as he scored two as the Cherries ran riot over Leicester - going 4-0 up before the Foxes bagged two late consolations.

It was 3-0 at half time thanks to a Fraser double and a penalty from Joshua King - who would not allow Fraser to take the spot-kick to complete his hat-trick.

Wes Morgan was sent off in the second half before Adam Smith made it four and Leicester scored late on through James Maddison and Marc Albrighton.

Cherries boss Eddie Howe said afterwards: “We've created lots of chances and haven't been taking them so it's good to see that change in our performance today.

“The majority of our defending throughout the game was good too, but we can learn a lot from the last period of play.

“When they scored their first, we needed a better reaction. The mindset should be to keep clean sheets and I don't think we used the ball enough when we had the advantage in the final part of the game."

He added: “I'm very pleased. Today was a very difficult game, Leicester are a difficult team to play against because they have athletic players in their side."
