Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe wants greater consistency from Jordon Ibe.
Winger Ibe has started all three of Cherries' Premier League fixtures since joining from Merseyside giants Liverpool in the summer but is yet to complete 90 minutes.
Howe told the Daily Echo: "During pre-season, I thought Jordon was excellent for us and I thought he was one of our standout performers.
"I think he has shown moments of his quality in the league games we've had, although I wouldn't say he has shown it as consistently as he or I would have liked.
"But I see huge promise in Jordon, huge potential to improve and the chance to show his real quality.
"Like with most new signings, especially in the wide positions, it's quite difficult for them to get to grips with everything we ask them to do.
"I think he's getting there. The relationship between him and the full-back behind him is key and we do a lot of work on that. That's not going to be built in a few weeks.
"I see a really promising future for him. I think his attitude and commitment to training and games has been good.'
