Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has thanked groundsman Dan Gonzalez ahead of his big move to Atletico Madrid.
The surface at the Vitality Stadium has been one of the best in the Premier League over the past few years due to the fine job of Dan Gonzalez.
And ahead of his move to Atletico Madrid, where he will be given the responsibility for the La Liga giants' playing surface in their spectacular new 67,000-seater stadium, Wanda Metropolitano, Howe has gone on to hail the departing groundsman.
Cherries boss Howe said of Gonzalez: "I think it's a sign of his work and what he has done for us, so good luck to him."
